Welcome to Canterbury Elementary School. We are a small school in a rural community where our core values at school reflect the community, and together, school and family, we work together for the benefit of our students. We believe in kindness, respect & responsibility, and enthusiasm. We believe in a solid, predictable relationship between home and school. We believe in being available to our families to answer questions and discuss our needs. We believe in fun and laughter. So welcome to our school community. My principalship here at CES began in 2015 and I am honored to be here with you. Throughout my career, I have worked with children of all ages and been a principal and librarian at the elementary and secondary levels. I love children, family, and the outdoors. Raised in Northern New England, I have now found a home in southeastern CT with my husband who grew up in Norwich, CT.
