Changing Europe’s Boundaries

• Read the activity sheet together & individually if needed
  
  
• Use the resources provided on Mr T’s website to copy the maps you will need
  
  
• Paste the maps into PowerPoint
  
  
• Place any icon you want on the countries whose boundaries were changed to correspond to the languages spoken
  
  
• Place any icon you want (different that question 4 icon) on the countries that were created when the Austro-Hungarian Empire was divided
  
  
• Highlight or mark the restored nation that provided a barrier between Russia and Germany
  
  
• Answer in complete sentences
  
  • What do you think happened to Germany after it lost many factories and much of its farmland?
  • What do you think happened to the German people who lived in pats of Germany that were given to other countries?
    
    
• Make sure your name is on the paper and save it to your H drive. 
  
  
• Print it out to the Grade 8 printer and bring it to your all your Social Studies classes this week.
