Kindergarten registration usually takes place in early spring at the end of March or early April. Parents call the school to set up an appointment on the day of registration. At the time your appointment is made a packet of information will be sent to you. On the day of registration, students spend some time with the kindergarten teachers playing in a classroom, while parents fill out the paperwork with the principal, Mrs. Ferguson. A hearing and vision screen is also done at this time. You will be asked to fill out a form indicating your preference or need for and am or pm session.
Classroom Visit in August
A date will be determined each year for children to visit their new classrooms before the official start of the school year. During this visit, students will visit their new classroom and meet their teachers. Children and parents will be treated to a bus ride together and a tour of the school.
